The detachable base comes with a spout at the back to drain away the collected water easily without removing the utensils.

The bottom of the storing tumbler sits elevated above the base so that your utensils are not touching the drained water. Three of the dividers in this set are knife pockets for your sharp tools, keeping you safe from accidental cuts. These are of different sizes accommodating everything from paring knives to steak knives. The other two dividers are simple ascending sheets that can be placed vertically to adjust the width of the individual pockets.
