Perfect sleeve for 14'' Macbook

Sleeve is made of quality materials.It is soft to touch at the same time has lot of cushioning to protect laptop.Moreover it does not add heft to the laptop.

My honest review

I was looking for a sleeve for my 14" MBP on the internet and that's when I came across the Alpaka Elements sleeve. The pictures and reviews indicated that this sleeve is top choice.

What I was looking for - a snug fit sleeve which is well padded all around. Tough long lasting zippers. A handle to hold on. A spare compartment for some basic essentials.

I went ahead and purchased this sleeve though it didn't check off half my requirements just because the reviews online was promising for the other half! Upon receiving the package I noticed that product was well packed by MQ. The sleeve doesn't have a handle to hold on or a spare compartment for carrying bare essentials. ( something I preferred but was aware of it's absence ) Coming to the part that I hoped worked out well, The sleeve is big for a 14" laptop to the point I was confused for a moment if I was accidentally sent a 16" sleeve! No, none of the tags indicated what size the sleeve is. Despite the integrated corner folds to secure the laptop within the sleeve, the laptop does slide around within the sleeve. The acclaimed xpac material ( feels like tarp ) known for it's toughness which is one of the key highlights about this product adds to about a mere 40 percent and the rest is nylon.

Moving on to the interiors, the inner micro fleece lining is just about passable as soft to make sure it doesn't scratch up your laptop. I wish they didn't slap on their branding patch on the inside because that area is deprived of the soft fleece from protecting the laptop from scratches.

MQ has been exceptionally good with curating brands and products they sell, packaging, delivery and customer service!

Final verdict - I decided not to return the sleeve and hold on to it only because despite all the gripes it still is better than most other sleeves available. I did come across other sleeves on the internet which checks all my boxes but isn't available locally.
