The Merry Time of the Year!
The month of December paints a picture of coziness of a warm blanket and a cup of hot coffee, excitement for the upcoming holidays and plans on how to end the year on a high note. Shopping for gifts and roaming in Christmas markets, chilly cold winds for some and just a slight nip in the air for others – there are so many different aspects one associates with this month! Here are some of our picks which we feel might make your December a special one!
The aroma of fresh coffee is invigorating as well as comfortable for so many of us. The idea of curling up with a cup of a nice smelling coffee is comfort at its best. A modern twist to this setting would be the double walled glasses from Leonardo. Perfect for holding a hot cup of coffee without burning your hands! And the clear glass lets you see how the different colors of coffee mix together!
Add a coffee and cardamom scented candle from Max Benjamin to this picture and you are all set to go! With top notes of cardamom, bamboo leaves and bergamot on the base of dark roasted Kenyan aromas – this max Benjamin candle is a must have for the winter months.
One cannot talk about December and not talk about Christmas. The spirit of Christmas makes even the most cynical person hum along the jingles and feel a bit merry! Decorating the Christmas tree, finding special gifts for family and friends, preparing for holiday parties – it’s all part of the Christmas celebrations. Decorating your home is a central part of the celebrations and the loop candelabra by Black Blum is definitely the centerpiece you want to have for those holiday parties. The interesting curve design makes this candle holder unique.
The glasshouse by Rader is another décor piece that looks wonderful in any corner of the house. The snowflake design on the walls captures the light of the candles beautifully and gives a unique glow for the winter months.
December also marks the end of a year and the beginning of a new one. And a new calendar is required on day one of the year so might as well stock up on them in December only! The calendars from Portico Designs are the perfect addition to your space – especially this cutesy variation called the recipes calendar by Lily and Val, featuring chalkboard art illustrations of 12 recipes – 1 for each month!
With the year end also comes the memories – cherish them and get ready to make some new ones in the new year. End this year on a high note and roll out the new one on a higher one! Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
